Maharana Pratap College of Allied Science, Gwalior, a premier Institute of the region established in 2009 was founded by Pratap Vahini Samaj Kalyan Sansthan. It is affiliated by Jiwaji University,Gwalior (M.P). In a span of sixteen years the Institute has developed to a premier College of the region. The institute is having on an average 60-80% merit positions in the university examination every year. It draws its strength from its up to date facilities and highly qualified faculty. Gwalior is located on main Central Railway line between Delhi and Chennai and is well connected through air, rail and road to all parts of the country. The Institute is approximately 5 K.M. away from the Gwalior railway station. It is affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Since its inception in 2009, this college has evolved over the past 15 years and has occupied a cherished place in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Owing to its state of the art infrastructure and well equipped clinics, it has consistently been a preferred choice of students wanting to pursue their undergraduate degree as well as in various disciplines of post-graduation. The students are well trained in proficiency, skills and knowledge by highly qualified teaching faculty which helps them in gaining confidence. Our students take advantage of the best recreational indoor and outdoor sports facilities available in the campus which enables them to develop a holistic personality and engage in curricular and extra-curricular activities in a sprawling clean and green campus. The college has a well-equipped Central and digital library and modern classrooms with audio-visual and computing facilities. We are also focussed on upgrading of our knowledge and skills by conducting regular continuing dental education programmes in the campus to stimulate the young minds of our students. MELODIC GWALIOR The history of Gwalior can be traced from the legend of eighth century AD, about a chieftain, Suraj Sen who contracted leprosy and was cured by the hermit-saint Gwalipa. He established this city in his honour as a mark of gratitude for the incident. Over the years, the newly established city, Gwalior came into existence. Gwalior has been the birthplace of many powerful dynasties. The city took on a new dimension as a result of the warrior kings, poets, artists, and saints who helped it become well-known across the nation with each new dynasty. In addition, the city serves as the location for the monuments honoring historical freedom fighters like Tatya Tope and the tenacious Rani of Jhansi.
